The number of straight from the headlines projects seems to be increasing by the day, and Patricia Heaton is the latest to get in on the act.
Blue Fox Entertainment recently announced that they have acquired the rights to Unexpected, an offbeat comedy starring Anna Camp, Joseph Mazzello, Neil Flynn, and Ryann Shane. The company, which will distribute the film in North America, launched worldwide sales at the Cannes Film Festival.
The cast of this movie are no strangers to the comedy genre, with lead actress Camp having starred in films like The Lovebird, while Mazzello's credits include the Oscar-winning The Social Network.
EXCLUSIVE: Joseph Mazzello (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect) are set to star in Bob and Amy, an indie comedy produced by David Hunt and Patricia Heaton via their FourBoys Entertainment shingle.

Patricia Heaton & David Hunt’s FourBoys Entertainment has closed a production deal with Warner Bros. Television, the studio behind Heaton’s popular ABC comedy series The Middle. Under the pact, FourBoys has hired Rebecca Stay as President of Television, and Amelia Taggart as VP of Theatrical.
