Investing in
family values film

FourBoys Entertainment develops and produces family-values film and television for theatrical, network, and streaming release. Founded by Patricia Heaton and David Hunt. Operating since 2001.

Why family film?

Family-values content performs because its audience is organized, loyal, and underserved relative to its size. The market data supports what the audience already demonstrates: when well-made and properly distributed, family-values content generates returns that mainstream genre pictures rarely achieve at the same budget level.

The content travels across theatrical, streaming, network, and home entertainment without friction. It does not require an R rating to find an audience. It generates minimal controversy and maximum word-of-mouth.

The team

Co-Founder

Patricia Heaton

Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner. Best known for Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle — two of the most durable family comedies in modern television history. Currently in active development at Fox through Kapital Entertainment. Heaton is not a passive name attachment: she has been a working producer and actor on every FourBoys project.

Co-Founder

David Hunt

Trained at The Juilliard School. Director of Unexpected. Producer across every FourBoys credit, including co-production of Amazing Grace alongside Terrence Malick and Edward R. Pressman. Acting credits include The Dead Pool, Mad Men, Homeland, and 24. Hunt is the operational and directorial backbone of FourBoys — the person responsible for bringing projects from development into production.

Production tax incentives

Independent film investors working with FourBoys can access production tax incentives, rebates, and credits available in most U.S. states and in international co-production markets. These incentives — which can return 20–35% of qualifying production spend in many states — materially affect net investment exposure and are a standard component of independent film financing structure.

FourBoys works with experienced entertainment attorneys and production accountants on every project to maximize incentive capture.
